Who is Enkindled Commons for?

Enkindled Commons is for adults who are open to a stable shared living environment. We serve a wide range of people including those transitioning between housing situations, veterans, seniors, working adults seeking affordable housing, individuals in recovery, and people re-entering society.

What is included in the monthly rate?

Your monthly rate covers your furnished room, all utilities including electricity, water, and gas, WiFi, washer and dryer, and access to all shared common areas. There are no hidden fees.

Are the homes sober living?

Yes. All Enkindled Commons homes are alcohol, drug, and weapon free. This standard exists to protect the safety and wellbeing of every person in the home.

How much is due at move-in?

A one-time non-refundable cleaning fee is due at the time of move-in along with your first month's rent. The exact amounts will be confirmed during your intake process.

Can I have guests or a car?

Personal visitors are not permitted inside the home. This policy protects the privacy and safety of all residents. Case managers and professional support personnel may visit with advance notice to management. Parking is available for residents with vehicles.

How fast can I move in?

Once your application is approved and move-in fees are paid, you can move in as quickly as a room is available. We respond to all applications within 48 hours and work to make the process as smooth and fast as possible.

Do you accept vouchers or agency payment?

Yes. We work with residents who receive SSI, SSDI, veterans benefits, and agency or representative payee payments. If your income comes through a third party, we will work with your caseworker or payee to coordinate payment. Contact us directly to discuss your specific situation.

What happens after I apply?

After you submit your pre-screen, a member of our team will follow up within 48 hours. If it looks like a good fit we will schedule a full intake conversation and an in-person meeting. From there, if everything aligns, we move toward a move-in date.

Can my case manager stay involved?

Absolutely. We welcome ongoing communication with your case manager, social worker, or other professional support. Case managers may visit the property with advance notice to management. We see your support network as a partner, not a barrier.
